Logo 1 — Accounts Value Stream

Client context

HSBC internal — Accounts VS + Onboarding SVS

Brief

As a member of the Accounts VS + Onboarding SVS, I participated in a logo design competition to create a visual identity for the Accounts VS. This logo was to be used internally—across communications, emailers, Zoom backgrounds, and shared platforms.

I explored themes that symbolised account creation, the accounts core team, accessibility, and trust. Out of 30–40 entries across the organisation, my concept was shortlisted in the top 8 and ultimately was voted the Winning Design Logo by the team.

Design Concept

  1. 1.

    The outer triangle forms the letter 'A' that stands for Accounts Value Stream. The triangle is formed by three points symbolising our three sub-value streams: OMA, MMA, CMA.

  2. 2.

    It also represents the unity of our team & a collective force that binds our team together, working harmoniously to create the best possible experience for our customers.

  3. 3.

    Within the triangular shape, a human figure symbolises the user profile icon.

  4. 4.

    The dot within the figure's head signifies 'I' for Ideas, emphasising our commitment to innovation.

  5. 5.

    The overall use of the vibrant red colour is derived from our brand's logo and the triangle is inspired from the brand's hexagon.

Logo 2 — Algorythm Music Band

Client context

HSBC HiTi — in-house music band

Brief

I've designed a playful and rhythmic logo for Algorythm—HSBC HiTi's in-house music band. The goal was to create something that blends musical energy and playful identity with a quirky tech twist, capturing the band's creative spirit. This was created for use on t-shirts and stage visuals during live performances and internal gigs.

Before finalising the chosen logo, I explored multiple visual directions. Each version experimented with typography, waveform-inspired shapes, and dynamic layouts—tested across t-shirt mockups and stage visuals to ensure visual impact both digitally and live.
